Solzi Luce is a hand-finished architectural lighting house in Quinto di Treviso — engineered to project specification for the architects, designers, and developers who shape considered spaces in 41 countries.

A note from the founder

1998, Treviso.

I started Solzi Luce in 1998 because the lighting being specified in serious Italian projects had lost its handwriting. Good luminaires were being assembled by people who had never stood in a room they had lit, and the specifications arriving on my desk from architects were being met by catalogues rather than answers.

Twenty-six years later, the workshop in Quinto di Treviso still does what I believe a manufacturer should do: cast, machine, anodize, photometrically test, and finish every body in-house. We do not outsource the brass. We do not offshore the photometric validation. We do not treat IES files as an afterthought.

What "engineered to specification" means in practice is simple — every fixture that leaves this building has been measured against the file the architect signed off on. The beam is the beam. The finish is the finish. The Revit family is the Revit family. If a project asks us to do something we have not done before, the engineers and I sit with it until we have.
